Ecommerce Executive - Retail

Our client, a fast growing online beauty brand, is looking for an Ecommerce Executive to join their London office to help maintain, update and trade our online product catalogue across our domestic and international websites.

You’ll be responsible for ensuring the website reflects and enhances the brand values at all times. You are accountable for ensuring that website content is set up, tested and goes live on time. Analysing and reporting on product performance and making recommendations to improve sales and conversion, plays a large part in the role. You will assist with any daily operational activities and take a proactive approach to all projects, assisting other team members as required.

Key Accountabilities
• Support campaign roll outs in line with the critical path 

• Upload products onto the websites ensuring that imagery is up to date and copy is 
search engine optimised 

• Maintain and update product information, prices, categorisation and attribution 

• Use web analytics (Coremetrics) and internal trading reports to monitor, investigate 
and recommend action to drive sales performance 

• Produce and share accurate trade reports on a daily and weekly basis 

• Review website search trends and product lister page rankings using Demandware 
optimisation tools 

• Recommend and action changes to product hierarchy and search filters on the site 

• Send new products to our US partners to ensure the US website is up to date 

• Work closely with buying, merchandising and retail to ensure current product and 
trading strategies are accurately reflected online 

• Explore and propose sampling opportunities with Brands 

• Closely monitor competitors and the industry for fresh ideas and promotional activity 

Required skills: 

• A passion for beauty or fashion and e-Commerce 

• Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel 

• Confidence in handling and interpreting data and articulating your findings 

• Highly organised with meticulous attention to detail 

• Ability to communicate effectively and work well in a team 

• Proactive with ‘can-do’ attitude’ 

Desirable skills: 

• Experience of using a content management system (CMS) 

• Experience of utilising a web analytics platform 

• Photoshop
