Ecommerce & Digital Marketing Executive

Overview
Our client, a global homeware brand, is looking for an enthusiastic and driven Online Sales & Marketing Executive to join their Kingston office on a permanent basis. As online representative for the UK, you will be responsible for driving the e-commerce business and the digital marketing strategy.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage day to day trading of the website; reviewing analytics; identifying opportunities to drive conversion and sales
• Work in close co-operation with the central e-commerce team overseas to coordinate changes on the website, with a focus on maximising sales based on the daily performance of KPI’s
• Work with UK Sales and Finance teams to build campaigns, annual forecasts and support local sales actions online.
• Drive e-commerce sales metric performance (conversion, sales, margin, profit, units, ATV) in line with set forecasts
• Work with 3rd party Distribution Centre and internal systems to ensure e-commerce stock availability at all times
• Support UK Logistics and Operations
• Ownership of Online P&L
• Report KPI’s to key stakeholders on a regular basis including weekly and monthly e-commerce report
• Attend weekly Trading meeting with Commercial Team to update on e-commerce activities
• Analyse online trends and tracking competitor activities
• Work with UK media agences to manage UK PPC activity in line with SEM strategy and budget, and implement additional online marketing initiatives including Performance Marketing, affiliate marketing, CPC, Dynamic, Display
• Drive e-commerce traffic in line with set forecasts
• Drive SEO strategy; implement and maintain strategy driving both on and off site optimisation
• Coordinate e-newsletter campaigns in line with the Commercial Calendar
• Work closely with UK Marketing Manager and Exec to ensure all current campaigns are integrated digitally
• Act as the coordinator between functions of all online marketing and sales activity ensuring that messaging is consistent across all digital channels including website and eCRM
• Analyse customer behaviour online and identify areas for improvement
• Own and secure that we excel in our omni-channel customer experience; identify and implement initiatives aimed at building our omni-channel presence
• Support UK Customer Service team regarding online order enquiries and inform them of all customer facing online activities so they can support customers using chat/phone service.
• Online brand guardian for the brand; always working towards strengthening and supporting the brand

Key Skills & Experience
• 3+ years’ experience in e-commerce and digital marketing within a UK retail environment
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to coordinate numerous projects simultaneously
• Commercial Experience implementing SEO, PPC, Adwords
• Google Analytics with an e-commerce focus
• Experience managing agencies and working with internal stakeholders
• Excel (Advanced level desirable)
• Email marketing and eCRM
• Ability to create and develop online marketing content
• Familiarity with web CMS tools is a plus
• A commercial drive to challenge develop online, ecommerce and omni-channel sales and marketing
• Ability to work on both strategic and tactical level
• High level of energy and passion
• Ability to work in a small team and manage own workload
• Excellent communication skills
