The European Enterprise Partner Marketing Manager will lead Partner Marketing initiatives with our major partners in the European Telecom & Security verticals, to take advantage of the leading connected technology offered by our client and their partner companies. Reporting to the Global Head of Enterprise Partner Marketing (USA-based), this EMEA position will own a number of initiatives driving awareness, engagement and conversion together with our European Enterprise partners.
The European Enterprise Partner Marketing Manager must be a strong leader, able to communicate effectively across multiple sectors and partner types, with a desire to engage across a wide-range of stakeholders up to C-Level inside and outside the company. It is essential that this individual is a strong collaborator across the Marketing and Sales teams with clear understanding of B2C marketing (retail channel, online e-commerce) and B2B Enterprise relationships.
*Own the marketing relationship for Nest with 5-10 partners in Europe with a focus on UK, NL, DE and IT and be the voice of the brand throughout the partnership.
*Work with the named partners to increase awareness of the product, launch new or additional products, and increase sell-through of all products through those partners’ channels.
*Be responsible for developing short/long-term co-marketing programs with strategic partners including consumer facing (B2C) and through-partner (B2B2C) touch points,
*Develop and own the execution of telecom-specific retail channel marketing strategies and programs including in-store merchandising (graphics, fixtures, demo units) in partnership with named accounts.
*Partner with the internal creative team as well as external agencies to execute on B2C and B2B2C media buys and creative development for paid, owned and earned media channels in partnership with named accounts. Omni-channel marketing initiatives include: Nest.com web content/Digital display/video advertising/OOH/ Social Media/TV, Print, Email.
*Responsible for managing co-branded messaging and media mix planning with Enterprise partners so it works in concert with Nest’s own consumer advertising and channel marketing initiatives.
*During partnership negotiations, collaborate with Nest’s Sales team to establish a valuation of partner-driven marketing investments and develop a commensurate / reciprocal budget and partner marketing strategy for Nest to help close deals.
*Responsible for managing a portion of the EU Enterprise Partner Marketing budget including management of purchase orders, invoicing, forecasting.
*Partner with the Marketing Analytics team to establish marketing campaign goals, track activity, provide recommendations on plan refinements, and report on performance.
*Work cross-functionally with the Brand Strategy and Nest creative teams to ensure Nest creative concepts can flex to support the needs of EU Enterprise partners across multiple channels. Define the kit of creative assets needed for each Nest campaign so it can support the EU Enterprise channel.
*Work with the Creative and external agency leads to ensure that website reflects the partner offers and positioning. Actively look for an improved customer experience for consumers that land on the page from Partner campaigns.
*7-10 years of related marketing experience at a top retailer or within Telecommunications industry
*Brand marketing and Partner / Co-Marketing experience
*Understanding of and/or background in media strategy & planning, channel sales and marketing; experience in B2B2C marketing an advantage.
*Experience launching marketing activities that leverage more than one brand while maintaining consistency for both.
*Proven success negotiating with partners to create experiences that support your brand and products.
*A passion for consumer electronics and technology
