ECOMMERCE WEB DEVELOPER

The eCommerce Web Developer is responsible for evaluating functional requirements, technical design, development and deployment of enhancements to the eCommerce website. Partner with the GBT and Design teams to ensure project objectives and timelines are clearly understood and create solutions that will drive brand positioning and strategies.

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• 3+ years experience in: Object Oriented Development
• 3+ years experience in: Websphere Commerce Suite preferred but not required
• 3+years experience in: Adobe Experience Manger a plus
• Delivering a leading customer experience using the latest web technologies
• A technical innovator - able to identify, understand and implement new technologies
• T-Shaped: able to understand all aspects of the platform on a basic level as a whole, while maintaining a deeper expertise in one area.
• Experience with JIRA ticketing system or an equivalent system
• J2EE (Specifically JSP, Servlets and MVC Frameworks such as Struts or equivalent)
• Javascript, HTML (HTML5), CSS (CSS3),
• AJAX, JSON, XML, XSL, XSLT
• Ant, Unix Shell Scripting
• DB2 and SQL
• Experience developing dynamic web 2.0 applications with Advanced Object Oriented JavaScript using frameworks such as Ext JS, Prototype and Jquery
• UML and OO best practices
• Managing multiple projects and deadlines
• Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team
• Assessing the progress of development
• Have strong written and oral communication skills
• Good technical documentation, project scoping and estimation skills

***Experience in mobile technology development is a plus
***Web Development experience with a fashion apparel and/ or footwear brand is a plus
***Ability to look forward and reduce UX issues in new developments is a plus
