E-newsletter Marketing Editor

We're looking for an E-newsletter Marketing Editor for our client who is one of the country's largest banking and financial lending companies.

This role supports the goal of consistently demonstrating and articulating the firm’s expertise and insights in the areas of investment management and financial goal planning as well as develops and curates financial education content from other sources to support client needs.

This individual will report directly to the e-Newsletter Program Manager. He/she will participate in initial strategic planning process and then have editorial responsibility for execution working with all internal & external partners for content development, including, line-up input and recommendation, writing where needed, newsletter assembly (i.e. build), QC, subscription lists and deployment assuring final product is consistent with program goals.

He/she will be the daily point of contact for following program partners:
• Outside agencies (content, design, production, deployment)
• Internal Business Intelligence team (List pulls)
• Internal Line of Business partners
• Internal Legal, Compliance and Brand partners
• Subject Matter Experts

Candidate must be able to work independently but closely with manager to keep informed. Identifies and resolves or escalates issues in order to ensure program timelines are met within budget.

This individual is not responsible for, but actively participates in discussions around:
• Audience Research
• Measurement
• Testing
• Program strategy
• Program enhancements (matters which impact all issues – not limited to a specific issue)

Ideal candidate must have:
• Strong communication & relationship-building skills
• Strong writing & copy editing skills
• Proven ability to influence groups in order to drive to consensus
• Experience executing both online & offline financial services content; Direct e-Newsletter program background a plus
• Ability to think strategically yet is detail-oriented
• Ability to work under aggressive timeframes and adapt to changing direction (as needed)
