E-Learning Project Manager

Vitamin T is assisting our client in their search for a contract to hire Project Manager. The Learning Solutions Project Manager will be primarily responsible for managing innovative, technology-based learning solutions. The ideal candidate must possess the knowledge and skills as described below, including a broad knowledge of eLearning technologies.

This position is responsible for the overall management, client communication, coordination, scheduling, and budget maintenance of high-quality learning initiatives for our clients (including eLearning and blended solutions).

Responsibilities:
• Planning, managing, and implementing learning and development programs for our clients
• Creating and executing project plans, revising as appropriate to meet changing project needs, shifting resources, and requirements
• Identifying, assigning, and managing the appropriate resources and personnel in a team-oriented environment in coordination with the account and project management teams
• Managing project budgets to project scope
• Ensuring that project documents are complete and current
• Communicating project status on a regular basis to colleagues and clients
• Conducting a detailed review of all deliverables and addressing any issues before passing to client
• Consistently ensuring the highest quality of work before releasing it to a client
• Liaising with the client, taking time to understand the client’s evolving needs, developing the client relationship through effective communication and personal skills, and building trust through repeated, timely, and effective project delivery
• Managing priorities and consistently meeting deadlines
Requirements:
• Bachelors degree or higher
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational and follow-through skills, keen attention to detail
• Experience as a Project Manager in an interactive agency or training organization, eLearning specific experience preferred (background in Training and Instructional Design, a plus)
• Technology savvy
• Desire to remain on the forefront of emerging industry best-practices
• Ability to work independently, as well as within a group
• Life sciences industry experience a plus
