E-Learning Instructional Designer/Content Developer

Manage and design learning projects based on Adult Learning Theory (ALT) and sound instructional design principles and practices:
• Design and develop eLearning courses and materials that are creative, functional, intuitive, accurate, effective and compatible with the internal LMS system
• Create outlines, storyboards, scripts, job aids, activities, workbooks, assessments, and other deliverables for a variety of broad range of learning needs.
• Work closely with internal clients to assess training needs and to provide guidance and advise in order to develop effective e-learning modules which meet the clients’ expectations in a timely manner. Prior to developing module, secure clients’ agreements to storyboard, e-learning design, interactions and branching scenarios which are developed using ADDIE principles.
• Review project plan and major milestones with Organization Development and Learning team embers to highlight critical dependencies.
• Troubleshoot issues with existing eLearning courses with keen sense of urgency and ability to lead efforts to implement design changes from end-user perspective
• Act as a knowledge resource to the organization regarding instructional design, learning technology, graphic/media design, and learning management system (Preferably SuccessFactors) integration
• Solves problems with detail oriented logic while embracing new knowledge, different perspectives and a flexible approach
• Actively identifies opportunities to develop, improve and maintain templates, processes and standards compatible with internal technology requirements and standards


QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED:
• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
• Four to seven years of instructional design experience (preferably pharmaceutical industry)
• Experience developing e-learning courses and an understanding of web browser compatibility across desktop, laptop, tablets and mobile environments
• Proficient experience using e-learning software and authoring tools, preferably Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Articulate Studio (Presenter, Quizmaker, Engage), Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator (Graphic Optimization)
• Proficient recording and optimizing audio files
• Proven experience working with AICC and SCORM methodology, HTML, CSS, XML, ActionScript and JavaScript
• Strong ability to actively engage with internal clients regarding their e-learning training needs
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to work efficiently to complete tasks and projects within the required time frame. Must be able to identify project risks and escalate to management along with mitigation plans
• Excellent verbal and written communication skill with various levels of management
• Advanced knowledge of instructional design concepts and principles
• Expert knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite especially Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Experience with graphics creation, screen capture software, and audio editing software.
• Must be extremely well organized with an emphasis on time management (meeting designated deadlines).
• Ability to learn new software and systems quickly.
• Ability to be flexible in adapting to changing schedules.
