E-Commerce Product Manager

Vitamin T is assisting our gourmet food manufacture client in their search for an E-Commerce Product Manager. This is 4-6 month position with possible extension.

The Product Manager is responsible for optimizing the user shopping experience within the web-site appealing to a multi-generational consumer base.

They will work to identify, define, and build solutions to enhance the customer experience utilizing a data driven approach across all related devices.

The ideal candidate has experience using data to derive insights into consumer shopping behavior and the ability to use that insight to create strategies to improve the user experience, resulting in higher engagement, conversion, and stickiness.

• Partner with cross functional teams such as Merchandising, Marketing, Product& Innovation, IT, Finance, to define user experience for multiple key site initiatives including site redesign, omnichannel, loyalty, and additional custom functionality.

• Determine and define the functional scope of projects that introduce new features and functionality and/or improve upon existing features and functionality across shopping channels.

• Work with implementation partner on benchmarking, defining wireframes, development cycle, testing, and implementation of new functionality. Additionally, leading UAT and writing user stories partnering with technology and engineering teams.

• Research and recommend industry usability “best practices” based on competitive analysis

• Manage A/B testing and usability to validate new initiatives, support consumer segmentation, and product personalization

3+ years of Product Management and/or E-commerce experience

Self-starter with superior time management, project management and organizational skills

Exceptional data-analysis skills and ability to communicate findings effectively in a non-technical manner

Knowledge of Demandware required

Experience within the gourmet food industry a plus

Knowledge of CSS/JavaScript front-end coding a plus

Understanding of A/B testing design and execution

Understanding of web technology fundamentals

Self-motivated, resourceful and creative mindset

Experience working with agile technology teams
