A well established, UK wide, fashion retailer is looking for an E-Commerce Marketing Manager to work with the Head of E-Commerce and his team.

The purpose of the job is to provide market-leading data analysis and online strategies resulting in increased multi-channel traffic; increased conversion and retention, average order value and basket size. This position will also help continue aggressive sales growth both in the UK and internationally.

Overall
• Carry out the commercial ecommerce plan as directed by the Head of E-commerce
• Fully and accurately brief the design studio. Ensure every brief is on-brand and based on web best practice (usability, accessibility, W3C, etc)
• Project manage and help drive a team of seven to achieve their target - forming contingencies and new ideas where needed –to ensure all agreed projects are delivered on time and to agreed standards
• Analyse commercial performance and provide detailed insight as to the next tactical steps
• To project manage PPC, SEO, MVT, social media marketing, affiliate marketing, competitor analysis, newsletters and design.

Marketing
• Help produce and co-ordinate a web marketing plan
• Help position the websites as fashion forward/ high quality brands. Translate this into a defined online brand manual
• Work with the offline Marketing Manager to ensure we have a multi-channel approach to both offer and style of communication
• Focus on trade of the websites; particularly analytics, customer journey, information architecture, site content, conversion, promotions and weekly trading activity
• Help aggressively market the site through all online channels; closely managing the day-to-day relationships with suppliers. Monitor core KPIs such as CPA and conversion
• Provide solution and ideas to problems/ opportunities as they arise
• Keep abreast of the latest developments in e-commerce















Key Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

Essential Desirable
• A strong and current knowledge of all key areas of ecommerce based on significant experience in ecommerce
• Highly computer literate (MS Office, Google analytics/ Optimizer) with the ability to quickly learn proprietary CMS, analytic and email systems
• Commercially minded – with a keen understanding of the cost/ benefit of each strategy
• Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
• Excellent attention to detail
• Team player
• Able to project manage external departments’ involvement in the web strategy
• Analytical with strong reporting skills
• Ability to communicate well at all levels (both written and verbal)
• Assertive, confident and able to challenge established ways of working
• Proactive, resilient, flexible and able to find solutions and remove barriers using own initiative
• Highly creative, pragmatic and innovative
• Have a philosophy continuous improvement
• An ability to use packages such as Photoshop.
• Experience within a retail environment
• Experience within a fashion retailer
