E-Commerce Insight and Optimisation Analyst

My client, a global e-commerce and TV shopping company is looking for an E-Commerce Insight and Optimisation Analyst. Working within the web commercial team to analyse relevant data and provide recommendations with a goal to maximise sales opportunities for the web and mobile platforms. You will be responsible for all web commercial reporting, error minisation and conversions optimisation, ensuring the website is tagged correctly to get relevant data and this data is distributed in a clear and meaningful manner.

You will also work closely with the E-commerce and Non-live manager to set KPIs and targets for the website ensuring these are aligned to business objectives. These should be communicated to the wider business and measured regularly through a clearly defined reporting suite.

Working with current site tools (product recommendations, monetate) to optimise and ensure highest possible sales return. This role will also utilise market and customer insight to identify opportunities for propositions to be developed.

There will be direct supervision and support from the E-Commerce and Non-live Manager, however the E-Commerce Web and Optimisation Analyst is expected to manage and prioritise their own workload, making recommendations to the business on the best course of action.

SELECTION CRITERIA
➢ KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• Experience working in a commercial analytics team with in depth knowledge of Coremetrics or a similar analytics package (Coremetrics preferred)
• Experience within a Head Office retail environment with particular emphasis on merchandising and stock control.
• Strong project management skills
• Experience working in with internet sales systems, in a new media environment
• Eperience working with a variety of bespoke systems
• Strong decision making skills,
• High level of attention to detail
• Excellent numerical and computer literacy skills
• Ability to meet deadlines with short timescales within a demanding and sales focused environment
