Aquent is looking for a an E-Business Manager for a top San Diego retail client!
As a member of the e-Business team that has responsibility for all customer facing electronic solutions, this position will be responsible for managing the operational aspects required to effectively support customers’ electronic purchasing needs through third party procurement applications. Responsible for defining scope and creating requirements for projects that result in providing capabilities to better serve customer needs. Responsible for on-boarding new partners and customers, including the establishment of document flows and business rules to best facilitate customer purchasing needs. Responsible for coordinating activities with internal IT partners to ensure successful integrations between our systems and partner/customer systems.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities
Develops and manages a team of associates responsible for electronic catalog creation, partner and customer integrations, operational troubleshooting and problem resolution, customer and associate communications regarding business rules and integrations, and partnerships with other key business constituents including e-Business, Sales and IT.
Develops, manages, and executes strategic plan for existing and new e-procurement partnerships, including marketplaces, work order management solutions, asset management solutions, and inventory management solutions.
Analyzes online customer research, current market conditions and competitor information.
Analyzes, develops and implements new opportunities for e-procurement relationships.
Tracks performance related to partnerships and strategic accounts.

Must pass the Drug Test
Must pass the Background Check


Education and Experience
Typically requires BS/BA in related discipline. Generally 7+ years experience in related field. May require certification. Advanced degree may offset less experience in some disciplines.

Preferred Qualifications
5-7 years experience managing an operational team of 5 or more associates.
-Experience in project management and process improvement.
-Experience creating electronic catalogs and understanding of the processes required to provide electronic catalogs to partners.
-Experience recommending marketplace and procurement solutions.
-Experience evaluating operational metrics.
-Hands on experience identifying and developing innovative new platforms and strategic alliances based on customer needs.
