Under direct supervision, may process print requests and prepare transmittals. May distribute engineering, supplier, and technical data as required. May update and maintain engineering database files with information contained in routine to semi-complex engineering job packets (i.e. bill of material, design specifications, etc.) May create image files using reproduction equipment and auto programs. May enter and maintain integrity of project data files consisting of technical data, engineering and supplier drawings, purchase orders, technical specifications and other project required data. Job tasks, correctly performed, impact indirectly on cost containment, efficiency, profitability or operations. Consequences of error are easily measured and can be confined. Skills are typically acquired through 4 years related experience processing technical documentation associated with Manufacturing and/or Technology.

Actual Job description for my needs:
QC DOC Coordinator

The QC DOC Coordinator is a scientist or chemist who is accountable for the execution,
maintenance, and development of QC DOC, Baroid’s centralized quality web-based
authentication system. The QC DOC Coordinator is also responsible for all Quality
Documentation including vendor COAs, VQCAs, and COQs. The QC DOC Coordinator is
expected to spend 100% of work activities supporting Quality Documentation and Logistics
support in the 0-3 month time frame. Works as directed on collaborative product
improvement projects with Supply Chain and Technology.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Update Product Specification, standard test procedures, VQCAs and product SAP
• numbers – 30% of work activities
• Review and update vendor contract information – 8% of work activities

• Set up access and roles for users of QC-DOC, both internal and external – 2% of work
• activities
• Maintain QA/QC MSDS database – 2% of work activities
• Generate Manual COQs for supply chain and logistic – 10% of work activities
• Timekeeping for the department – 1% of work activities
• General administration duties supporting the QA/QC Lab and Bioassay Lab under the
• direction of the managers for these areas including but not limited to ordering office
• supplies & chemicals for the labs, monitoring P-card expenses, and other essential tasks
• to support these departments – 10% of work activities
