Display Advertising Marketing Manager

Display Advertising is a fast growing business within the marketplace. Our mission is to change the advertising experience by delivering innovative Display advertising formats and experiences that improve the user experience and drive revenue.

As the Display Advertising Marketing Manager for the US Display Advertising business, you will partner with our Agency Sales teams and internal BUs to identify custom marketing opportunities to bring to market that drive revenue, deliver value and enhance the customer experience for our advertisers, buyers, and sellers. You will be tasked with developing unique marketing programs/promotions to help solve for advertisers’ goals and objectives.

Manage and support expansion of custom marketing programs and partnerships which include ongoing management of existing top strategic account partners and scaling new partners.

• Identify and develop scalable custom promotional opportunities that extend beyond standard media leveraging the company platform and internal BU driven initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams (internal BU stakeholders, product management, marketing and analytics) to conceptualize, validate and implement marketing solutions for clients.
• Clearly communicate the progress of initiatives/programs to internal and external stakeholders.
• Act as the liaison/ main point of contact between marketing and advertising and keep the advertising team abreast of any new marketing initiatives.
• Develop, plan and implement custom marketing programs which includes managing internal stakeholders and client/agency expectations – anticipating problems before they arise, sending weekly progress reports/updates and escalating issues where needed.
• Manage budget for expenses tied to marketing programs.
• Develop project schedules and resourcing (i.e. Analytics, Project Management, etc.) plan for all marketing programs
• Ongoing management of Agency sales teams - includes providing guidance/direction, setting realistic expectations, decision-making and overseeing communications to external parties.
• Collaborate with Agency sales teams to develop comprehensive pitch decks for Agency/Client presentations.
• Identify creative solutions for roadblocks that may seem unsolvable
• Experience working with sales, ad agencies and advertising clients direct.
• Strong communication skills – ability to communicate effectively horizontally and vertically within a large matrix organization
• A passionate, creative mind that can bring out of the box ideas into marketing campaigns.
• Excellent project management skills, along with working well across a matrix organization.
• Strong presentation skills required - ability to effectively pitch ideas/solutions to potential clients and to senior management
• Some travel is required – approx. 20-30%.
• BA/BS required
