Display Account Manager

A large technology company based in central London is looking for Display Account Manager to join the UK Account Management team based on a 3 month contract with the possibility of the role becoming permanent.

Reporting to a Group Account Manager, the Account Manager (AM) partners with Sales and Support staff to manage key agency and client accounts currently advertising across the client’s Advertising portfolio.

The AM undertakes the day-to-day management of accounts and is responsible for execution of the customer’s order and ensuring that campaigns are fulfilled in line with the customer’s requirements and expectations working with their Account Team to develop sales within the account and to identify new business opportunities for the client’s advertising.

Key Accountabilities

• Manage the day-to-day running of the account
• Proactively monitor contract delivery and report progress against client goals
• Proactively optimize campaign to ensure highest return on investment
• Conduct mid and end of campaign analysis
• Renew all existing advertising campaigns within the assigned agency
• Build solid relationships within the agency and act as point person for customer issues
• Project manage all bespoke advertising solutions
• Manage accurate and efficient booking of sales contract data into internal systems
• Develop knowledge, expertise and insights into the customers’ businesses
• Collaborate on proposals, packages, including preparation for client/agency meetings and participation where appropriate, for assigned account(s)
• Contribute to generating additional advertising solutions

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Candidates may come from an agency background but have a proven track record of dealing with tough clients.
Strong proven Account Management/Client Services experience with some element of online experience. Agency/network experience is desirable.

High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and other MS Office applications
In depth knowledge of the on-line advertising industry
Specialised industry, customer and campaign knowledge

Educated to degree level or equivalent
