Our client is looking to bring on a Director of UX and a UX Manager! They're located in Waltham, MA and both roles are temp to perm.

researchers, interaction designers and front end developers is seeking a UX Director and UX Manager to cajole,
inspire and guide us to the next phase in our evolution.

UX Strategy is your bread and butter. You know how to make a great first impression and

a visionary thinker with a persuasive bent. Outstanding people skills allow you to align
departments, teams, and teammates, encouraging collaboration and fostering tighter working
relationships. This leader will have a proven track record in setting a vision for great customer
experiences, inspiring others to get behind the vision, and ultimately delivering products and
services that are known for their delightful experience and ease of use.

You believe that when our customers succeed, UX succeeds. You are passionate about
understanding the customer and delivering the best solution for them.

Responsibilities:

Accurately communicate the team's efforts internally and externally and reward success
within the team.

Ensure a consistent, unified, experience across our SaaS product suite.

Coordinate, align and balance internal processes and workloads between interaction
designers, visual designers, UX developers, UI copywriters and UX researchers.

Scoping, forecasting, tracking, and delegating across simultaneous projects in an agile
development environment.

Galvanize energy and people around visions and concepts for great user experiences
and ensure successful implementation through influence and leadership.

Facilitate and direct the definition of design standards, patterns and components.

Demonstrate out-of-the box thinking while also delivering solutions that meet users and
business goals

Partner closely with others in design, product, business and product development to
execute against the current roadmap and identify new opportunities.
Work in concert with Marketing and Customer Experience teams to align data driven
insights with customer research, informing interaction solutions.
Manage a team of UX professionals, providing coaching and mentoring, review of
deliverables, performance management and facilitating professional development
opportunities.

Requirements:

Minimum 10 - 15+ years of UX design and/or research experience with 3-5+ years of UX team
management/leadership experience.
Talent steward with proven history of hiring, managing & developing a high-performing &
highly-engaged team
Degree in Human Factors, HCI, Visual Arts, or related experience.

Deep understanding of how prototyping and customer research meet complex and varied
requirements within tight development windows.
Proven track record in setting a vision for great customer experiences, inspiring others to
get behind the vision, and ultimately delivering products and services that are known for
their great experience and ease of use.
Success in driving change in a matrixed, multi-product environment.
Extensive command of user experience design principles, problem-framing skills.
Experience using Agile methodologies such as Scrum and/or Kanban
Conversant in design methodologies and modern web technologies.
Background in Social Media, Ecom or other SaaS apps.
Experience with mobile design a plus.
