Director of Project Management

Summary
As Director of Project Management, you must be able to manage a multi-skilled team of online
and offline Project Managers and oversee the management of groups within the Creative
Resource team. Your mission is to manage for highest-quality client experience and results
by monitoring all project processes and operations for time and resource efficiencies, cost
management, and process improvement opportunities.

Responsibilities
• Establish and enforce a streamlined workflow of agency project-related processes
• Identify best practices and develop new systems/processes/tools for complex integrated client
projects
• Establish an agency capacity plan for use against ongoing assessments of agency staffing
needs in relation to client work in progress.
• Coordinate and manage agency PMs, internal teams, vendors, third-party providers, etc.
• Monitor adherence to project approvals, scheduling, time, and financial management
policies
• Oversee coordination of project quality assurance reviews to ensure highest quality
deliverables
• Help to recruit, hire, and develop staff and support ongoing departmental training initiatives
and resources.

Qualifications
• A minimum of 7+ years of project management experience – preferably in a full-service
advertising agency setting
• Project Management Certification
• A good to expert understanding of print, broadcast, and digital (multi-media) production.
• Self-motivated, quick and assertive
• Extremely detailed oriented and organized
• Exceptional time management skills
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• Cool, calm, collected and collaborative
• Proficient in MS Office applications, Adobe Acrobat Professional
• A working knowledge of MSProject and/or FileMakerPro, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator,
etc.,
