Director of Media & Metrics

Vitamin T's client specializes in the design and execution of marketing programs for clients across a wide

swath of industries including financial services, consumer products, B2B and healthcare. They're

looking for a Digital Media Analyst who will undertake analysis and reporting for marketing

programs and other digital performance, touching account, executive, and client teams.

Overview of Role

Reporting directly to the Vice President of Media & Metrics, the Director of Media & Metrics is

responsible for ensuring that department work deliverables are executed to a high standard of

quality and in a timely fashion. The Director of Media & Metrics will work closely with account

team members (e.g., Account Directors, Producers) and Media & Metrics team members (e.g.,

Campaign Managers, Reporting Analysts) to assign and monitor production queue items and to

follow-up on those items to ensure that deliverables were completed to specifications.

Responsibilities Include

 Maintaining a continuous understanding of planned and ad hoc work deliverables and

ensuring that all tasks are tracked through the internal ticket management system

 Prioritizing and reprioritizing work as business needs shift, providing guidance to

campaign managers and reporting analysts around which tasks to complete first

 Serving as the primary approver of work deliverables generated by campaign managers

and reporting analysts; reviewing their work for quality and in order to lend additional

insights/expertise prior to handing the work off as complete

 Ensuring that critical processes elements (such as pre-and post launch checklists) have

been adhered to; be the sole approver of certain kinds of critical releases

 Stepping in to handle overflow work that can’t be absorbed into campaign manager and

reporting analyst queues due to timing issues and other constraints (e.g., last minute ad

hoc data requests from clients, “rush” deliverables that must be immediately

accommodated)

 Keeping key stakeholders informed around the submission of deliverables, and any

issues or impacts that may have arisen during the course of work (e.g., check in with the

Vice President of Media & Metrics regularly; check in with producers and account

directors as needed)

Beyond production deliverables, the Director of Media & Metrics is also intended to play an

integral role in developing a more robust service delivery model for the Media & Metrics

practice, both through attention to continuous process improvement and by providing

excellent service to our clients. This includes:

 Strategic collaboration with the Vice President of Media & Metrics to determine which

tools, practices, and processes would help the Media & Metrics Department become

more efficient and innovative, and provide excellent client service
