Director of Marketing

The Director of Marketing is both strategic and tactical. Will work with marketing products and services, including: market segmentation, product strategy, positioning, sales enablement, driving awareness, assisting buyer informational needs, competitive positioning, and creation of product and channel partner relationships. The DM will interact with all departments on a daily basis, as well as manage two employees -- and work to grow the team under this leadership.

This position is the interface between the market and the company. You will help the company understand market needs -- and help the market understand how the product solves their problems and meets those needs. The DM lies at the intersection between strategic and sales cycle marketing. It's crucial to balance strategic and tactical, long-term and short-term.

Some Primary Responsibilities include:
+ Value proposition/ messaging
+ Defining buyer personas
+ Planning and coordinating activities for well-defined marketing segmentation
+ Market segmentation - classifying and prioritizing
+ Lead generation
+ Conducting workshops, serving as panelist or guest speaker at conferences and trade shows

Requirements
+ 10+ years strategic/tactical marketing experience in a software environment
+ Director-level leadership skills (Management exp)
+ Demonstrated and proven experience in strategic marketing scenarios
+ SAAS or cloud-based platform experience

+ BS in marketing or related field
