Our client in Westchester is looking for a Director of Marketing.

Key Responsibilities
1. Responsible for all marketing communications, including but not limited to online marketing (corporate website, email marketing, as well as social media strategy and implementation).
2. Develops the annual marketing strategy and plan with input from VP, Marketing and Business Development; supports and facilitates the development and implementation of business unit marketing plans.
3. Translates business objectives and strategies into initiatives which facilitate Credit Union growth.
4. Supports and assists with business development and sales efforts across the organization.
5. Leads corporate communications work; ensures projection of a positive corporate image.
6. Directs and manages agencies that produce advertising, public relations materials and marketing collateral.
7. Responsible for partnership marketing plans and implementation; enables the fulfillment of partnership advertising to members.
8. Assists in developing departmental budget. Directs and controls project and departmental expenses.
9. Communicates to board of directors, senior management and staff regarding promotional and marketing programs.
10. Directs external research and reports results to the organization.
11. Performs internal research, analyzes reports from specialized software; analysis of member research to determine market requirements for existing and future products.
12. Manages and coaches marketing staff. Administers Human Resource concerns such as staffing, training, employee relations and performance.
13. Sets policies within the department.
14. Ensures adherence to company policies and procedures and Banking/Credit Union Regulations.
15. Stays abreast of industry developments including, but not limited to, changes in regulations and technology.
16. Promotes and maintains a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner consistent with professional standards to get along with members, co-workers, management and vendors.
17. Performs additional duties as required.

The Marketing Communications Manager works under limited supervision using independent judgment. This person must possess planning, organizational and command skills as well as a wide degree of creativity. He/She maintains contact with outside vendors and partners affecting areas of responsibility and manages a staff of 3-4 people. This person oversees an annual budget of up to $1m.

Essential Skills, Knowledge and Requirements
1. Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or related field(s) strongly preferred.
2. Excellent organizational, analytical, math, communication, interpersonal and managerial skills.
3. Ability to foster ideas and develop creative concepts to support marketing initiatives.
4. Demonstrated proficiency in graphic design programs such as Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, a plus.
5. 7-10 years of related experience preferably with a credit union, bank or other financial institution.
6. Social media and ecommerce marketing, a plus.
