We are looking for an experienced, analytic, stellar marketing director to lead our demand generation strategy and help drive continued brand awareness by building and implementing innovative demand generation programs. The Director of Demand Generation will lead the planning, development, implementation and analysis of a comprehensive, integrated marketing and demand generation plan to help drive new leads and fuel them through the sales funnel faster. The ideal candidate will develop, execute and analyze multi-layered campaigns leveraging tools such as: email marketing and marketing automation, SEO, digital advertising, social, event marketing, direct mail, etc… Focus on creating and executing lead generation marketing programs that drive content creation, digital marketing, and customer advocacy marketing. The ideal candidate will have experience with Marketing Automation technologies, understand the importance of Content Marketing, have stellar project management skills. The individual will not only be required to think on a strategic level, but also must be hands-on in driving marketing programs and creating content. Create demand generation strategies and campaigns to support net new leads for US direct sales, customers, channel partners, and EMEA direct sales.
Develop the strategy and manage the day to day execution of where to invest and reach our target audience with meaningful programs that drive awareness and fuel new leads.
Coordinate with internal and external partners to ensure delivery of programs that exceed goals.
Work collaboratively with the Content Marketing Manager to conceive and create content marketing such as: emails, web pages, white paper, digital advertisements, ebooks, social media posts, etc.
Leverage marketing technologies to measure, track and analyze marketing programs and content performance.
Work closely with the Marketing team to manage the marketing calendar, ensure all lead scoring and nurture programs are constantly monitored and optimized, and improve ROI by campaign to drive investment decisions.
Manage relationships with outsourced resources and manage marketing vendors.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record managing B2B pipeline generation, including managing campaigns from concept to ROI analysis. Must be very comfortable with continuously changing opportunities and priorities. The ideal candidates will possess the following:
10+ years marketing experience. Ideally 5+ years of experience in demand generation and content creation for B2B software company, with proven ability to deliver consistently strong measurable results.
Experience with marketing technologies such as Marketo or Eloqua and Salesforce to generate, capture, nurture, track and report on leads, conversions, and ROI.
Experience in running a portfolio of quality lead generation programs. Experience should include: email and database marketing, content marketing, sponsorships, events, etc.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills – must have both an interest and skill in analyzing and making meaning out of data and translating that into actionable changes.
Creative, high energy, innovative, proactive, and resourceful.
Comfortable working in a demanding, fast-paced environment
Excellent organizational, project management, and communication skills.
Roll-up-your-sleeves work ethic and willingness to take the initiative and make things happen.
Ability to work on multiple projects at once, prioritize, work independently, and problem solve, working comfortably under pressure.
