Director of Ecommerce

Vitamin T has an exciting full time opportunity with a company in Buford, GA. The Director of E-Commerce is an expert in and advocate for performance marketing with proven experience managing the online sales of a consumer brand. This includes establishing and fulfilling marketing and communication objectives and day-to-day management of two consumer websites and Magento eCommerce platforms.

Reporting to the CEO, this role is accountable for driving profitable sales, acquiring and retaining customers and leading all e-commerce efforts, including email, SEM, SEO, Affiliate marketing, referral, social and partnerships. The Director will manage one creative manager, a P/T social media community manager and potentially several external agency relationships.


Own the creation of the e-commerce marketing vision
Partner with product lime owners to develop an omni-channel strategy that supports a customer experience consistent with consumer buying behavior and drives lifetime value.
Develop marketing strategies, budgets and implementation plans including paid, organic, affiliates, etc that will improve lead generation, increase new customer acquisition and drive incremental sales & profitability.
Own, drive and manage email strategy and execution.
Develop and maintain master content calendar for website that will drive sales as well as support marketing and communications objectives.
Manage paid search marketing programs and SEO in conjunction with the brand teams through a combination of internal and external resources
Develop and share regular performance results, including relevant KPI dashboard, ROI for marketing investments, promotions and campaigns, customer insights and sales forecasting


Bachelor's Degree required
5-8 yrs experience in e-commerce marketing and management for a consumer brand
5 years of experience managing SEM, SEO, Affiliate marketing, referral, and social media campaigns
Strong understanding of e-commerce cross and upsell opportunities and analytical insights that help drive best online practices.
Strong analytic skills required, with the ability to leverage quantitative metrics and qualitative insights into meaningful outcome and strategic recommendations
Ability to work closely and communicate effectively other members of the senior leadership team
Strong sense of urgency about tasks.
Experiencing working with web programmers and basic knowledge of web design tools and platforms
Ability to work independently and with ownership over projects.


Expert knowledge of Magento
Expert knowledge of Google AdWords and other SEM platforms
Strong knowledge of MailChimp, Bronto or other email platform
Google Analytics Certification
Excellent understanding of online promotions and e-commerce revenue drivers.
Experience with social media and shared media platforms including blogs, Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter and Instagram.
Strong understanding of SEO drivers
