Director of Digital/Social Media Strategy

A global luxury fragrance brand is looking for a Director of Digital Strategy that will oversee digital, social media and eCommerce.

Responsibilities include:
- Lead the strategy & planning for all brand digital initiatives & platforms
- Define the digital media strategy, plan & content needs for all of the brand launches
- Lead and Manage the implementation of all on-going Social Media programs including the existing brand Global Facebook Page & Pinterest page
- Define, implement and manage all new social platforms & programs (Instagram…etc.)
- Redefine the strategy and plan of the brand's microsite with the objective of creating strong engagement, strong KPIs and ROI
- Create strong relationships with brand's digital teams at global/corporate HQ to ensure the brand is well represented and supported throughout the year
- Manage the digital relationship with the brand's Corporation including the recommendation, validation and implementation of all digital initiatives
- Develop & initiate programs to support e-retailer sales in key countries
- Master the digital needs of brand's key zones/countries to ensure that Global program recommendations are in line with local needs & initiatives
- Must create strong working relationships with all key stakeholders including:
o Global Marketing teams
o Global PR team
o Global International Business Development team & local digital contacts in key countries
o Brand's digital teams at fashion house including: Social Media teams, E-commerce teams,
o US marketing, digital and e-commerce teams

Additional detail on the social media component of this position:
- Strategic thinking, impeccable organizational skills and solid creative writing, business writing and proofreading skills are absolutely essential. Highly process-oriented with an ability to create and implement processes for communication and interaction across global affiliate networks.

The candidate must have a personal capacity to communicate clearly, concisely, simply and systematically. This role is accountable for building trusting partnerships and building a strong social strategy and network. The candidate must have the ability to work with and manage approvals and relationships with Global Corporate.

High-level decision-making skills are required. It is important that the candidate be able to display confidence in discerning the correct opportunities for the brand and executing those opportunities flawlessly based on solid judgment and maturity. The ability to work cross functionally as a key strategic partner is imperative.

 Create annual global social media strategies, plans, programs and budgets based on brand image, sales objectives and strategic goals. Align with global market teams to coordinate local market activations Digital media creative & planning teams
 Manage strategy and content creation for brand's-owned properties (Facebook and Pinterest) and submit content suggestions for brand's-owned social channels (YouTube, Twitter and Instagram)
 Provide expert knowledge in social media strategy, content creation, execution and performance metrics
 Oversee the creation and execution of content on the microsite
 Work closely with the brand's social team to ensure that digital content continues to be on-brand and best-in-class
 Manage brand's social photographer from concept to delivery of assets
 Collaborate with PR and Marketing teams to develop the social media strategy for new product launches and key moments in time
 Manage timelines and calendars for the brand's website, including monthly editorials and new product pages
 Serve as point of contact for digital agency and global corporate team for digital programming and approvals
 Partner with PR to communicate consistent messaging on social channels
 Manage the final execution of brand's social content. Post all content to Facebook, including geo-target posts in approved languages
