Director of Digital Marketing

The Director- Digital Channel Marketing will be responsible for developing and executing digital marketing and e-commerce strategies for Kohler Brand Fixtures and Faucets as well as Sterling Brand Plumbing in the Americas. This position will have profit and loss responsibility for the digital channel. 

This business leader will use consumer insight to insure that digital marketing is a significant demand driver for the company. He or she will also be charged with managing our e-commerce business opportunities through third parties as well as on KOHLER.COM.

Digital merchandising and promotion, mobile marketing, social media marketing and ecommerce will be the central elements employed towards the goal of creating an inspiring customer experience on KOHLER.COM and through all other digital spaces where we touch the consumer or trade professional.

A strong, disciplined and fact based business leadership approach will be expected in developing and managing this opportunity for Kohler Company.

PRIMARY OBJECTIVES

  1. Grow E-Commerce Sales.
  2. Enhance Consumer Experience on KOHLER.com
  3. Support & Drive Product Launches

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Digital Marketing Strategy Development and Management
    1. Develop digital marketing strategy to include:
      1. Merchandizing and Marketing on KOHLER.COM
      2. Direct marketing
      3. Omni-channel
    2. Create and manage operating plans to translate strategy to action
  2. E-commerce Strategy development and management
    1. Develop e-commerce strategy for KOHLER.COM
    2. Manage the KOHLER Authorized e-tailer program and IMAP Policy
    3. Create and manage operating plans that support and align with business objectives.
    4. Lead management for on and off line sales
    5. Create and manage account plans
    6. Manage and maintain IMAP program
  3. Customer and Market Insight
    1. Identify and develop consumer and trade insights to inform strategies and operating plans
    2. Identify and incorporate opportunities based on customer and market trends
    3. Develop insight to create plans to address Multi-Cultural opportunities
    4. Manage a dashboard of key success metrics – measuring ROI of key initiatives will be essential
  4. E-Commerce Organization
    1. Develop and manage team to lead in e-Commerce
  5. CRM Database
    1. Uses CRM capabilities to enable lead management process
    2. Support and drive consumer engagement and conversion
  6. Communication
    1. Build internal communication process to leverage learning and organizational capabilities
    2. Build external communication process to insure maximum leverage and minimum conflict with marketplace partners
    3. Regular formal reporting and presentation of business plans, opportunities and results to key executives and internal stakeholders.
    4. Serve as a mentor/teacher to internal and external stakeholders to allow Kohler Company to fully leverage digital channel capabilities across businesses and traditional channels.
