Director of Digital Acquisition, Loyalty and Brand Marketing

Our fantastic forward-thinking Fortune 500 client who offers world-class Charge and Credit Cards, Rewards, Travel, as well as Personal Savings, is in need of a skilled contract/freelance Director of Digital Acquisition, Loyalty and Brand Marketing. This role is onsite in NYC, Wall Street area, 40 hours a week for 8 months (until November 2017).

The Personal Savings product is an online direct bank that offers FDIC-insured High-Yield Savings Accounts and Certificates of Deposit directly to consumers. Personal Savings (within the finance group) was launched in 2009 and has aggressively grown direct consumer deposits to over $30BN.

As Director of Acquisition, Loyalty and Brand Marketing, you will be the senior marketing leader for, and play a critical role, in maximizing the effectiveness of the Personal Savings marketing channels. This is a unique opportunity to drive strategies and investment across the entire set of marketing channels including acquisition, customer loyalty and branding.

Responsibilities:
• Lead a team of 2 senior managers and 2 marketing coordinators
• Develop a comprehensive cross channel marketing strategy including acquisition, branding and loyalty to support deposit growth objectives. Current channels include Paid Search, Organic Search, Online Display Media, Email, Affiliate Partners, and Personal Savings site marketing. Direct marketing/mail is on the channel horizon this year!
• Serve as the marketing point person for all regulatory, Compliance and internal Treasury requirements; manage audit requests, Personal Savings Marketing PRSA, and operational risk for acquisition marketing
• Optimize marketing investment across all marketing work streams, managing and forecasting a multi-million dollar marketing budget
• Manage relationships across the enterprise with various internal partners (Marketing Review Board, Information Management, Banking, Finance, and Technologies) and external paratners (Facebook, Google, creative agencies) to enhance marketing, analytics, and targeting capabilities, develop campaign test and learn strategies
• Manage external agency teams for Paid Search, Online Display media, and organic search
• Drive strategy and innovation across marketing channels, including enhanced targeting techniques and expanding into new channels
• Lead creative strategy development process with external agencies, including developing new creative assets across marketing channels
• Communicate monthly results to senior leadership and the broader Personal Savings team

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree required, MBA preferred
• 5-10 years of experience in multi-channel marketing, across online and offline marketing channels. Paid Search and Online Display Media experience highly desirable.
• Excellent core marketing skills with strong knowledge of marketing processes and campaign execution within stringent regulatory guidelines
• Superior leadership and influencing skills
• Prior experience managing external agency relationships to develop impactful marketing creative assets as well as the ability to lead and develop people
• Strategic thought leadership and strong critical thinking/analytical skills – ability to problem solve and think broadly to create strategies based on business needs
• Outstanding ability to consistently drive results while delivering execution excellence
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
