Director of Customer Acquisition

Our client, an online fundraising platform organization, seeks a Director of Customer Acquisition who will be responsible for driving the overall lead generation and conversion strategy for the business to join their growing team!

This position will report to the COO. The Director of Customer Acquisitions should be a seasoned marketing professional with a proven track record of developing, implementing, optimizing, and evaluating marketing campaigns that acquire new nonprofit and/or small business customers.

The success of this individual will get require this person to be energized by creating the plan and strategy along with rolling up their sleeves and getting it done! What would this role do, you ask??
- Develop and implement a multi-faceted online and offline strategy for acquiring, nurturing, and converting leads
- Leverage audience channels including onsite, mobile, search, advertising, content, and social to drive and nurture a consistent flow of leads for the sales team.
- Oversee overall search strategy through organic and paid channels
- Aggressively optimize and grow sales through the web channel
- Develop and manage a team
- Manage all aspects of budgeting and forecasting for acquisition channels
- Define and own key metrics around lead generation and conversion funnels
- Oversee analytics to measure effectiveness and reach of campaigns, while continually optimizing campaigns to improve performance and maximize marketing ROI
- Identify new opportunities for traffic growth across desktop and mobile devices
- Collaborate with sales, product, content, technical, and analytics teams as needed

The ideal candidate with have:
- 7+ years of multichannel acquisition marketing experience.
- Significant experience with marketing automation technology.
- Experience with Salesforce and Marketo
- Experience building and executing best-in-class content marketing plans.
- Expertise in building and managing effective teams, as well as the ability to effectively drive strategy amongst key decision makers.
- Demonstrated excellence in driving conversion online and offline from leads to customers.
- A strong understanding of SEO and paid search.
- Experience with A/B testing and customer segmentation strategies.
