What you’ll do:

The Director of Content Strategy produces and oversees customer-focused creative work across a variety of mediums. S/he leads and contributes to brainstorming sessions. S/he is skilled at transforming whiteboard scribbles into full-fledged ideas while directing and mentoring cross-functionally. The Director of Content Strategy ensures that all creative work is strategically on-target, brand appropriate, creatively excellent and utilizes the most effective techniques and technologies for generating response. S/he reports directly to the CEO and works across disciplines to help manage business priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide creative and customer-focused leadership, vision and inspiration to staff
  • Lead ideation and oversee timely execution of design and messaging projects
  • Develop and present strategic conceptual ideas and tactical executions
  • Manage multiple projects from concept to execution
  • Provide creative thinking, design and messaging direction
  • Develop and implement on-brand messaging and design across all creative deliverables
  • Collaboratively problem-solve larger business issues that may arise in the course of day-to-day work
  • Drive and participate in brainstorm sessions
  • Use insights into our customers' needs, behaviors and pain points to develop new UX solutions
  • Formulate and direct brand guidelines for internal and external materials
  • Coordinate cross-functionally to produce the most effective and informed solutions
  • Keeping up with latest industry trends and new technologies

  • Ability to engage positively with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented individual with ability and experience to manage many projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communications and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to mentor and provide effective direction to creative staff.
  • Expert knowledge of customer-focused design and messaging standards.
  • Hands-on problem solving skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of all major interactive, design and general office applications.
  • BFA, BA/BS or equivalent work experience.
