Director of Client Marketing and Admissions

An academic client of ours in Washington, DC is currently targeting a Director of Client Marketing and Admissions to join their team! The ideal candidate will possess great interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a fast paced environment. Having familiarity with content information systems and experience developing press release and brochure content is ideal. Qualified candidates must be able to build relationships and create brand awareness throughout the local community as well as develop leads for team initiatives. This position is a 2-3 month temporary to permanent opportunity, and the hiring manager will be looking to interview candidates immediately.




Job Responsibilities:



- Lead the development of an annual marketing and admissions plan and drive implementation to meet strategic objectives and enrollment growth; set strategic direction


- Lead and drive strategies aimed at growing lead generation including a robust community and referral network; attend key community events to enhance the schools’ profile in the community; local feeder schools, diversified local businesses, parenting and mommy groups


- Devise and lead outreach program that includes school fairs, events, forums and outward activity aimed at growing enrollment from the local community and positioning as first choice within international relocation market


- Utilize local and market data to inform marketing strategies and implementation; have a thorough understanding of the competitive market and share data and information with the team


- Provide team with supportive and focused leadership to enable them to reach their individual, team and school goals; ensure the work of the team is carried out professionally, effectively and with high standards of customer care


- Support conversion of prospective families through the admissions funnel including effective processes and follow-up


- Lead implementation of the communications plan and drive strategic direction of the communications, outward and inward


- Work to build advocacy through the Ambassador program, to support external and internal admissions drive


- Plan for and create opportunities to be positioned as a thought leader in the community through hosted events, earned media and speaking opportunities
