Director of Advertising Operations

Director of Advertising Operations assists local, regional and national management to facilitate the delivery of advertising services.

This includes management and optimization of agency resources and campaign operations as well as direct management of the process for production of national advertising. This position will be implementing advertising activities across channels with the goal of creating the annual master campaign to drive demand generation.

This candidate needs to have media experience, be able to execute, the ability to focus on details while keeping the larger picture in scope. We are looking for someone who is strategic but who will also role up their sleeves and not get too focused on strategy.

Essential Functions:
· Responsible for review and optimization of agency assignments and workflows including: careful assessment and understanding of stakeholder and organizational requirements as well as a thorough understanding of agency core capabilities. Assembly of a vendor/agency portfolio that effectively and efficiently meets organizational needs and directly supports organizational goals.
· Coordinate effective and efficient deployment of agency resources. Establish processes for effective management inter-agency workflows, client-agency workflows, internal advertising review processes and central view of enterprise promotion.
· Creates and articulates a broad, integrated view of the enterprise advertising ecosystem. Synthesizes diverse tactical channels (e.g traditional, direct, social, digital) and lines of business into a single view of regional and enterprise promotion. Creates line of sight and coordination across channel and line of business promotion.
· Tasked to map, deliver and manage annual campaign processes (including internal reviews and approvals).
· Identify and coordinate with key partners in the marketing team to assess and deliver core brand assets to support dissemination of the brand work throughout the enterprise. Assess and support a consistent brand advertising expression across enterprise media.
· Motivates and leads both internal management and peers as well as vendor advertising agency management and regional strategic consultants.
· Contributes to developing fact-based, integrated marketing strategies across marketing channels, in addition to managing the day to day projects.
· Responsible for tracking and managing annual AOR Scope of Work as well as mini-campaign driven SOWs with both internal management and external vendor advertising agencies.
· Track and manage internal and vendor advertising agency budgets and actuals tied to all proposed, initiated and maintained campaigns.
· Manages and audits all media buys for regional/national campaigns.
· Manage interaction with other members of the integrated marketing as well as
advertising vendors contacts and business partners.
· Responsible for account team performance and general vitality of the advertising agency vendor relationships.
