Director, Synergy and Brand Management

The Director, Synergy and Brand Management will develop brand strategies based on consumer trends and insights as well as a deep understanding of the objectives and partner Business Units. This position will lead a team focused on ensuring a best in class experience, assuring maximum user engagement and securing financial goals. This position will work across multiple lines of business and properties and execute Synergy opportunities that will help drive overall goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Accountable for the marketing strategies of branded IP including product positioning, integrated marketing and promotions, brand building, brand extension, forecasting, setting goals and objectives.

· Work strategically with Product to achieve business goals, using consumer insights; provide design input to increase marketability, and champion innovative digital concepts, that will increase brand equity.

· Direct and manage cross-functional teams to develop strategic plan, creative campaigns, and synergistic integration across all digital platforms to insure brand and marketing objectives are met.

· Work closely with Managers, Directors, VP, SVP, throughout the organization to ensure marketing programs are well integrated into all aspects of Operations, Sales, Product, PR, measuring and being accountable for ROI

· Deep understanding of the online space, emerging technologies and consumer trends to guide brand strategy while incorporating segment goals

· Develop a keen understanding of segment business objectives and articulate how those translate across all digital platforms and experiences

· As primary point of contact, you will collaborate with Product and UX teams as well as external stakeholders to ideate, develop and maintain brand guidelines

· Develop, execute, and analyze monetization strategies for sites within your Brand portfolio in conjunction with Ad Sales and Product teams based on sales projections and brand goals

· Partner with the lines of business to develop cross platform and cross network campaigns that meet marketing goals and objectives, acting as the brand expert

· Using brand guidelines, create campaigns that drive awareness to and interaction with Business Unit IP

· Remain ahead of technology and demonstrate extreme passion and understanding of industry trends in new media

· Inspire and guide your team to create engaging and innovative online experiences while staying true to brand and segment goals

· Partner with global teams to address global needs

· Continually evaluate team efficiencies and actively implement processes to improve performance, while continually providing teams with long-and short-term goals and objectives

· Drive quarterly business reviews and ongoing business unit communications

· Oversee overall budget and specific campaign P&L

· Oversee the team’s partnership with Analytics team to ensure detailed reporting and analysis is produced for campaigns and quarterly reviews

· Build and cultivate partner relationships at the Executive level
