General Responsibilities:

Manage and grow a team of Program Managers. Define and drive vision and improvements across the Lodging User Experience team. Drive new feature development in an Agile environment through every stage of the product lifecycle. Gather detailed requirements from stakeholders, collaborate with software design engineers, designers, usability engineers and testers to identify feature details and document them in functional specifications. Effectively manage trade-offs between cost, schedule, and customer benefit. Engage development, test, and operations to deliver features to production and drive problem resolution once the new feature has gone live. Measure feature success metrics post ship and feed learning back to the team and the business. Define best practices, innovative on processes, and evangelize across the engineering team.

We are looking for a product management leader for our global business intelligence (BI) and data platform. This platform delivers web services and visualization / BI capabilities to provide analytics for our global customers, as well as supporting new product initiatives, such as personalization and third-party integrations. You will bring innovation, a strategic perspective, a passionate voice, and an ability to prioritize and execute on a fast-moving set of product priorities, competitive pressures, and market opportunities. This is team lead role responsible for setting strategy and driving execution, while working across stakeholders in our executive team and global technology, supply, marketing, sales, account management, and operations teams.

Responsibilities:
• Lead the global product strategy for our BI and data platform through a deep understanding of our customer needs in the Americas, EMEA and APAC. Work closely with product managers in the different regionals to develop a global view of product requirements.
• Own the global product vision, roadmap and backlog for Egencia’s BI products.
• Set the product direction for a fast-paced agile team, working closely with the team to ensure successful launch of new products to market.
• Be close to the competition and understand our competitors’ strategies and product features. Apply your knowledge to develop differentiated product plans and win prospects in our sales pipeline.
• Present Egencia product capabilities, vision, value propositions, and roadmap briefings to customers, prospects, the sales and account management teams, and at other public events.
• Engage with other product leaders across Expedia, Inc. to leverage best practices and technology.
• Work closely with product marketing on positioning, messaging, product launches and go-to-market strategies.

Qualifications:
• A track record of innovation: you embrace creativity and have delivered innovative products to market. You’re passionate about travel and have lots of ideas about how to redefine the business travel experience.
• Enthusiasm and strong leadership skills with the ability to influence across the organization. Ability to push back or challenge partners in the organization while maintaining great relationships.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly the ability to articulate a vision and improvise and communicate ideas/positions on an ad hoc basis.
• Ability to work in a complex, diverse and changing environment. We’re specifically looking for a person who is energized by maintaining focus on key business goals and ability to execute on a plan with constrained resources.
• Strong analytical skills with a high attention to detail. Ability to ramp up quickly on a complex global BI and data infrastructure and become an expert across our air, hotel, train and ground lines of business.
• Experience with various BI and reporting platforms, including data warehouse, analytics, data discovery and data visualization technologies.
• Passion for customer interaction and desire to exceed what our customers demand of us.
• Prior people management experience and the ability to manage and motivate teams.
• 8+ years’ product management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree required, an MBA a plus.
• In addition to working with our Bellevue development team, ability to travel once per quarter to work with our team located in Paris.
