Aquent is seeking for a Director of PPC located in Phoenix, AZ. This role is responsible for leading a team of skilled pay-per-click specialists and managers tasked with creating, implementing and optimizing all of our clients’ pay-per-click activities across Google and Bing. The Director is expected to lead the team in strategy, innovation around optimization, structure, and ultimately will be responsible for the overall success of our book of thousands of advertisers’ PPC campaign performance.

The team is dedicated to the success of our clients’ pay-per-click campaigns and is laser-focused on remaining ahead of the curve utilizing innovative search strategies from setup, keyword selection and ad creation to ongoing optimization and monitoring. These strategies must be built on the premise of scale and should include clear direction around campaign growth and continued success. As the company grows, it will look to this Director for thought leadership around proper presentation of campaign analytics, complete use of client budget in accordance with goals, continued improvement to budget recommendations through data and performance, and potential ways by which to grow the product suite and portfolio.

Key areas of focus will be as follows:
1. To manage and direct an experienced team of PPC professionals including creating new processes, strategy and ongoing optimization. Other potential areas of focus may be around campaign pacing, product offerings and packaging.
2. To challenge and inspire excellence through effective communication, product understanding and a clear vision for growth.
3. To champion the overall PPC product within the organization, including setting product direction, optimization, QA and strategy.
4. To drive a team with a strong sense of urgency, superior service and performance matched to key metrics of success.

Job Responsibilities: The Position
• Lead a growing team responsible for the entire book of PPC accounts, fostering strategy, innovation, performance and campaign insight
• Own and be accountable for customer retention through performance, proper QA, implementation and ongoing management of PPC best practices with a clear
strategy for scale
• Resolve Issues with clients, where appropriate
• Drive employee satisfaction through clear goal setting and ongoing employee support
• Possess very strong leadership and mentorship skills
• Have an aggressive go-getter attitude
• Have the ability to learn quickly and adapt to change
• Be tenacious, driven and have the desire to succeed
• Be resourceful; have creative troubleshooting skills and a strong commitment to quality

Job Requirements:
• 5+ years of PPC experience in high volume environment required;
• 3+ years of senior level experience managing a team of PPC professionals;
• Proven ability to function in a dynamic, high volume business while interacting with executive level management;
• Demonstrated success at providing consistent high levels of team performance, quality deliverables, quality assurance, methodology development, and high employee retention;
• Deep understanding of pay-per-click best practices and campaign structure for effectiveness across many verticals.
