Director Of Digital Strategy & Technology

Are you currently a Director of Digital Strategy with several years of ad agency experience and feel ready for the next level? Eager to be more strategic and help lead and determine future direction?

If you have 7+ years of agency experience with the most recent years in a digital capacity as a Director, then this could be the right opportunity for you. This a contract-to-hire opportunity and a brand new position with this digital agency. In this role you will have the opportunity to help shape the direction of the group and drive innovation.

You will:

• Be highly strategic and able to develop winning, digital strategies for existing clients and new business opportunities.
• Be a strong leader, experienced at managing a team of direct reports but also cross-functional project team members.
• Be a skillful communicator and presenter.
• Serve as a critical member of the agency’s new business team and contribute as required (pitch strategy, proposal development, presentations, etc).
• Play a lead strategic and client services role on select agency accounts, ensuring that the client goals are understood and met and the agency is consistently identifying digital opportunities and preparing recommendations for digital solutions.
• Work closely with the Brand Management team in annual planning and ongoing client education including the ideation, digital strategic planning, writing and presentation of POVs, best practices, digital trends, and recommendations.
• Help to establish and ensure KPI’s align with client business/marketing goals.
• Be deeply involved in the reporting process, finding insights in program data, developing and writing recommendations, and presenting findings to the client.
• Provide financial oversight to ensure that project is being accurately scoped and managed to budget.
• Work with the Sr. VP to continuously build the agency’s digital offerings, build internal skill-sets, and identify external resources to round out agency offerings and scale resource pool.
• Drive ongoing efficiency and process improvement
• Build collaborative relationships with other departments and foster spirit of collaboration across disciplines.
• Work with leaders in Media & Analytics and Engagement & Influence to elevate the agency’s offerings, increase integration between departments, and identify new opportunities for growth.
• Champion efforts to improve agency’s financial management and profitability.
• Directly manage project managers and digital strategists

You should have:

• A Bachelors Degree. Masters preferred
• A minimum of 7 years ad agency experience
• Several years in a leadership role involved in a variety of digital products, services and deliverables
• Experience directly managing others
• Experience delivering a variety of digital products, including UX related projects
• Outstanding presentation skills
• Experience working cross-functionally with a variety of internal groups
• The vision to drive innovation and strategy
