Position Responsibilities and Scope
The primary goal of this team member will be to work with Strategy & Analytics team and with the Business Units to generate the market insights needed to support product, market and business development opportunities:
• Develop and manage primary research projects and define objectives, scope, audience, target markets
• Collect insights and data from primary and secondary sources to inform market understanding, business decisions, analytics and forecasting
• Experience with selecting appropriate market research vendor and appropriate research methodology and scope to meet research objectives
• Be an effective project manager; develop and execute a research workplan that is on time and on budget
• Extract and deliver key market insights; engage with key stakeholders to make these insights actionable
• Competitive intelligence

Desired competencies and experiences
• Curious about market, competitive, customer insights.
• 8-10 years primary market research experience is required
• Familiarity with market research methodology, experience with variety of market research companies is a must
• Biotech or medical device background required; experience with various stakeholders in healthcare (consumers, physicians, governments, etc is a plus
• Experience with international markets preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent project management skills
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and drive outcomes in an unstructured environment is essential to success
• BA/BS degree minimun, Master's degree preferred
