Director, Digital Strategy and Innovation

Vitamin T is assisting our client in their search for a Director, Digital Strategy and Innovation. This person will be responsible for leading strategic and operational development of all digital communications activities, this position evaluates new ideas, establishes governance processes, standards, and metrics for digital communications and ensures cohesiveness and consistency in strategy and implementation. This position also provides advice and consultation to other team members on how digital assets, trends, and opportunities affect and can be used to leverage business strategies.
Responsibilities

 Design and lead digital marketing strategies for B2C multichannel acquisition, cross-sell and retention programs utilizing web, mobile, gaming, social, and email marketing channels

 Effectively manage website development from start to finish, on time and on budget

 Create online promotional campaigns, including discovery, strategy development, implementation, and any monitoring programs required to determine ROI.

 Develop campaigns, in partnership with creative resources, across all social platforms (Facebook, Youtube, Twitter, Pinterest Vimeo, …)

 Work closely with our Creative and Development teams to develop a wide range of digital marketing assets (websites, videos, infographics, etc…)

 Act as the main point of contact for clients and take a proactive approach to helping them monitor ongoing campaigns with a focus on continual improvement.

 Work closely with internal digital media team member to develop and implement SEO, SEM and online advertising programs.

 Provide key performance indicator reporting to clients on a regular basis.

Skill Requirements

 “Big picture” understanding of digital marketing strategy, communications planning and gamification of marketing (unique understanding of how to drive consumer behavior).

 A creative yet data and detail driven individual with a passion for all things digital that drive acquisition/sales and retention

 Exceptional understanding of customer experience and online customer conversion.

 Strong familiarity with web application technologies to help define key business requirements for marketing systems in the discovery phase and beyond for better ongoing strategic insight and system usage optimization

 Creates high-quality, compelling documents to communicate findings and recommendations using MS PowerPoint, Word and Excel

 Ability to manage multiple projects, work independently, set priorities, and meet deadlines.

 Knowledge of SEO, SEM, Social Media, Web Design and Communications Planning.

 Ability to interpret key analytics and make key decisions based on this data, expected ROI, Budget, etc

Qualifications

 At least 12 years work experience required

 In-depth understanding of web/online communications strategy and the latest technologies to enhance the profile and output of company solutions

 In-depth understanding of how to optimize and integrate web, mobile, social, video, and search mediums to provide the most effective customer experience and business outcomes

 Advanced understanding of digital media and interactive platforms

 Proven team leader and strategist
