Objectives of Position

We are looking for a senior level, energetic marketing professional to oversee demand generation strategies and programs for two key routes to market: Lead generation for an SMB sales team and our ecommerce engine. Reporting to the Sr. Director, Demand Creation, this position provides strategic leadership in developing, executing and measuring the demand creation strategy for the Mobility Apps Communication Cloud team. This role requires exceptional demand generation expertise and strong multi-tasking to meet our challenging demand generation and awareness goals. The director will not only be required to think on a strategic level, but also must be hands-on in driving marketing programs.

Principal Responsibilities
 Participate with Marketing leadership to develop go-to-market strategy, annual financial planning and cross-departmental goals and metrics to effectively grow net new business
 Partner with Marketing Operations and Cloud Marketing Leadership to optimize spend across business units as needed to maximize ROI and meet annual revenue objectives
 Drive a comprehensive demand creation strategy which includes traditional (TV, print, radio, events, OOH) and digital media (paid social, display, email, list buying), sales lead generation (content marketing, Webinars, list build.), and campaign strategy plus execution.
 Manage demand creation budgets and allocation of media to meet financial goals and objectives
 Build business cases to aggressively explore and test new go-to-market channels to generate leads for SMB sales and eCommerce customers
 Oversee media agency relationships including RFP’s, contracts/scope of work and agency fee negotiations
 Lead inter-agency summits to ensure collaboration and integration across multiple partners
 Drive new campaigns and creative requirements to generate more efficient demand
 Define goals and metrics to measure impact of trial and lead generation-related programs
 Analyze, review, and report on effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximize results and ROI

Knowledge and Skills
 BA/BS required.  MBA preferred
 7-10 years marketing experience in Saas, SMB, ecommerce, demand generation/advertising
 Proven track record of developing demand generation strategy, managing significant size media budgets and overseeing multiple agency relationships
 Experience working across multiple channels with demonstrated success at growing traffic and conversion 
 6+ years experience creating and leading a team of both individual contributors and managers
 Excellent interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of establishing credibility with key business partners within marketing organization and cross-functionally,
 Demonstrated track record and ability to influence senior level leaders regarding matters of significance to the organization
 Strong analytical and quantitative skills – must have both an interest and skill in analyzing and making meaning out of data and translating that in to actionable changes.
 Creative, high energy, innovative, proactive, and resourceful
 Comfortable working in a demanding, fast-paced environment
 Some travel required
