The ideal candidate will have a background at an agency, consulting, or communications firm with either a track record of sales success or extensive experience in account management. Minimum of 10 years of experience in business development or account management within an agency, public relations, or communications firm, or directly comparable experience working inside a corporation or institution. Extensive direct experience working within the nonprofit, or corporate vertical, either inside a relevant corporation or institution, or as a vendor or service provider. Proven track record of managing and building relationships with new clients or the ability to retain and grow existing clients. A proven track record of delivering consistent revenue growth. History of consultative sales with large average deal size strongly preferred. Exceptional communication skills. Entrepreneurial, self-motivated mentality; driven at all times to meet and exceed goals. Ability to work with all levels within the team and across the organization. Excellent in-person presentation skills, relationship building and experience in contract negotiation. Comfortable with high volume of client interaction both in person and through phone and email. Impeccable ethical standards and professional presence.
