Direct Marketing Manager-Digital and Traditional

The Direct Response Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and implementing targeted digital and traditional direct response marketing strategies to support business line growth objectives. This position’s primary role is to assist in the development and project management of day-to-day direct marketing campaigns as well as managing internal and external client relationships.

• Mid-level skills in direct response marketing, either on the agency or the client side of the business.
• Must have good Excel and PowerPoint skills (does not need to be an analyst).

Major Responsibilities
-Gathers requirements for digital and traditional campaigns and manages day-to-day relationships with business partners.
-Assists in the development and management of media plans.
-Reviews and edits marketing materials and coordinates editing process with internal and external partners.
-Assists in day-to-day client management.
-Assists in development/writing of campaign brief and working with agency to develop tactical executions.
-Assists with project management of Direct Marketing campaigns and contributes to improvements in project management methodologies and processes.
-Provides recommendations to management on important issues of assigned projects.
-Works in collaboration with Marketing Analytics team and senior partner in order to analyze results and develop test and learn strategies for recommendation to the Feds Direct Marketing and LOB leadership team.
-Works closely with Data and Campaign Operations partner to select appropriate target audience for each campaign and data cleanse the leads kept on our 3rd party's servers
-Manages finance database and updates reports for financial reporting purposes

·Required Experience:
-Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in project management of Direct Response marketing projects at an agency or company

Preferred Experience:
-Direct marketing experience in multiple channels (i.e., paid search, SEO, direct mail, email, banners, shared mail, radio, television, print ads)
-Experience working with budgets and managing campaign expenses
-Experience analyzing campaign data and making recommendations to leadership
-Developing campaign schedules
-Excellent written and verbal skills
-Proven self-starter with strong ability to meet deadlines
-Problem solving skills
-Experience working in fast paced, deadline driven environments
-Proficient in the use of the entire MS Office Suite.
-Ability to produce & present PowerPoint presentations

Required Education:
-Associate degree required
-Bachelor degree preferred
