An elite product marketing team within one of the country’s most recognizable brands is looking for a rock star “Early Engagement” Direct Marketing Manager Consultant (20 - 30 hours, onsite or remote with access to NYC office for meetings). As the new “Early Engagement” Direct Marketing Manager in the Small Business group, you will:
• Own the strategy and execution of the Direct Mail Channel across all Small Business products.
• Maintain 40+ direct mail assets; update collateral, integrate product refresh updates; ensure all assets are compliant
• Properly forecast and order necessary amount of collateral; monitor channel to quickly identify and address concerns
• Develop and communicate key insights to leadership in verbal and presentation form
• Manage agency relationship in order to develop and execute creative content
The “Early Engagement” team’s mission is to welcome and engage new small business customers in a compelling way that delivers incremental value to the customer and the business. The team is focused on identifying and communicating relevant value propositions to core customer segments that inspire spend and engagement amongst new customers.
The Card Member’s first 30 days of membership is a critical juncture in the customer’s journey that often determines customer’s engagement trajectory. This Candidate will be tasked with looking at how the client welcomes Card Members from the point of approval and determine how they can most efficiently/effectively onboard the new customer and deepen engagement via direct mail. This person will be responsible for maintaining and updating creative assets in market.

• Strong ability to build and leverage relationships/influence across function and band
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and strong analytical skills and ability to drive to insight
• Proven track record to drive results and deliver flawlessly
• Direct mail experience required
