Direct Marketing Manager

We are currently looking for a Direct Marketing professional. The right candidate will have at least 8 years of experience with Direct mail, email, and telemarketing experience in a subscription based environment or comparable industry (mainstream subscription services, traditional direct mail, internet services, entertainment, satellite television, credit card services or cellular services). Position Summary:
This position manages, executes and evaluates all direct marketing activities designed to convert customers from a free trial to a paid subscriber. The focus is on executing programs that will improve conversion sales rates while maintaining or improving profitability for the Certified Pre-Owned, Non-Certified and other Used Vehicle segments.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Develop, manage, and refine on-going marketing programs (direct mail, email, telemarketing) to increase performance against monthly sales rate goals
• Analyze and interpret channel-level and overall sales results; develop business cases to support new sales programs
• Develop and maintain or oversee the development and maintenance of vendor feed specs through IT/Marketing Operations
• Work closely with cross-functional teams – external vendors and internal resources – to meet or exceed sales goals
• Manage and implement cross-team initiatives that drive increased sales for multiple OEM partners
• Work with brand marketing, creative and legal to develop communications
• Performs other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
• 8+ years in related position within a comparable industry (mainstream subscription services, traditional direct mail, internet services, entertainment, satellite television, credit card services or cellular services)
• BA or BS in Business, Marketing or a related area or equivalent experience
Requirements and General Skills:
• Proven full-cycle direct marketing campaign success
• Campaign analysis proficiency – ability to dig deep and report on campaign progress and design ways to improve conversion
• Strong cross-functional team management and project management skills, as well as the ability to prioritize multiple projects and set priorities in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
• Superior time management and organizational skills
• Ability to communicate effectively and cross functionally, written and orally, at all levels of the organization
• Spelling, grammar, proofreading and editing skills a must
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Willingness to take initiative and to follow through on projects
• Strong attention to detail and high level of quality in work output is essential, as well as the willingness to "get hands dirty" by understanding operational aspects of projects that are critical to successful execution
• Must have legal right to work in the U.S.
Technical Skills:
• Thorough knowledge of MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
