Direct Marketing Copywriter
--Direct Marketing copy specialist with experience and verifiable success writing specifically for direct marketing efforts. Experience writing all forms of DM media and channels including print, online, email etc.
-- Write, proofread and edit in a highly collaborative environment working with account executives, art directors, designers, and production managers.
-- Execute copywriting tasks from initial concept to final release.
--Experience writing for the banking and financial services industries is desired, but will consider candidates with experience in other similarly regulated environments.

Responsibilities:
-- Work closely with account teams to secure a clear understanding of the objective and demographics of the campaign to ensure copy is targeted to appropriate audience.
-- Collaborate with senior management to facilitate and direct the development of new creative strategies and goals, delivering measurable long/short term results. Develop techniques to reach new customers and enable the company to maintain the competitive edge.
-- Collaborate with art director to produce the most compelling combination ofimages, design and language.
-- Conceive the approach and style for projects and adjust the
creative to optimize results.
-- Write and evaluate copy, recommend changes and approve as final.
-- Set direction for client meetings and secure critical information.
-- Sell concepts, strategies and direction to senior management.
-- Take a concept or theme and develop copy that will achieve business goals.
-- Participate in review of jobs at all stages.

Requirements:
--4+ years advertising copywriting experience
-- Documented portfolio and record of achievement in writing for direct mail and direct marketing efforts,
-- Strong knowledge of general advertising practices,
-- Working knowledge of design software (QuarkXPress, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat)
-- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint), and working knowledge of Excel
