Direct Mail Project Manager

Fortune 500 Financial Institution seeks Project Manager will work on the direct mail execution team, supporting Investment Advisory Center on-boarding and engagement direct mail and email for a 12-month assignment.

MUST have direct mail and financial services experience.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Execute all aspects of new client on-boarding and engagement direct mail and email efforts, including:
• Manage current collateral inventories and re-orders
• Execute activation briefs by managing creative development of new pieces, including presentation of creative concepts
• Coordinate campaign execution between agency, line of business, data, and segment marketing partners
• Obtain governance, compliance, and legal approvals
• Recommend approaches to versioning reductions, print and production efficiencies, and process improvements
• Manage agency and vendor relationships
• Process and track invoices and expenses to budget/forecast
• Update various project status reports
• Participate in review of campaigns at all stages: creative development to mailing

Required skills & experience:

• 6-8 years project/program management experience, with 2-3 years within financial services
• Bachelors degree
• Extensive direct mail production skill set, including strategy, targeting/list development, creative development, reporting/analytics, and working with outside agencies and production houses
• Demonstrated ability to accurately estimate costs and develop/implement project plans within budgetary guidelines
• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe
• Experience fostering internal client relationships
• Strong communication skills
• Strong analytical, problem solving, quality management, and organizational skills
• Proven ability to effectively collaborate with others, initiate action, and adapt to change
