Direct Acquisition Marketing Manager

Overview
Our client, a fast-growing and innovative financial services organisation, is looking for a driven and proactive Direct Acquisition Marketing Manager to join their London team on a permanent basis.

The Direct Acquisition Marketing Manager will construct and coordinate channel marketing plans with particular accountability for 'broadcast' and 'biddable' media channels (DRTV, PPC, Display, SEO and Social) but closely coordinated with its 'targeted' channels (Direct Mail, E-mail, SMS etc.). You will be required to own the implementation of these initiatives with the aim of delivering growth in customer acquisition.

Key Accountabilities
• Manage the day-to-day relationships with media agencies and critical suppliers to ensure that they deliver against their commitments
• Ensure that marketing activity is compliant with all relevant regulations and internal policies, and delivered against all internal processes in an auditable and well governed fashion
• Working with a roster of creative agencies, as well as internal studio resource, to ensure a consistent creative execution throughout the channels. Acting as key 'customer' to creative output
• Stakeholder engagement with all internal partners to ensure internal performers are well informed and on track to deliver against marketing plans, including managing budgets and spend
• Support colleagues in delivery of optimised media plans, utilising market knowledge
• Support and represent Senior Managers where required, as well as supporting colleagues delivering targeted campaigns as and when required
• Identify, sponsor and deliver a pipeline of initiatives within existing channels, as well as opening up new channel opportunities
• Including getting internal 'buy in' for the pipeline, liaising with all internal and external stakeholders and performers to ensure smooth delivery of initiatives
• Remain up to speed with industry developments to help spot opportunities & threats


Required Skills & Experience

Essential
• Previous experience in a marketing function with a focus on digital channels
• Experience managing creative and media agencies
• Experience in managing multiple channels & campaigns in a high pressured environment
• Ability to flex plans reflecting internal or external changes
• Excellent interpersonal skills – oral/written communication, collaboration and influencing skills
• Team player
• Pro-activity & keen problem solver

Desirable
• Experience in a financial services environment
