Digital/social media coordinator

A unique position that will offer fantastic opportunities with a global and world-renowned brand.

The primary focus of this role is to effectively engage consumers via the social media channel, through maintaining and implementing all social media content for the brand throughout Australia/New Zealand.

Key aspects of the role will include:

• Develop strategies to drive consumer engagement and growth across different social media platforms.
• Develop detailed ROI, KPI and engagement metrics.
• Update and maintain existing social media platforms:
o 3 targeted Facebook pages
o Twitter
o Linkedin
• Identify and develop a strategy to launch and maintain the brand on new platforms eg. Instagram, Pinterest, Forums, blogging etc.
• Liaise and engage the sales team stakeholders by conducting monthly WIPs to develop content for the Facebook pages.
• Maintain a 12 month calendar to align with key marketing and promotions campaigns.
• Populate platforms with images developed from internal assets and supplied by external agencies.
• Liaise with Consumer Information to ensure that consumer queries and complaints are answered in a timely fashion.
• Develop and implement content via effective copy writing.
• Content needs to be adapted for each platform to ensure that it forms a part of an integrated campaign strategy for the brand.
• Develop monthly giveaway promotions to drive engagement with the fan base.
• Manage Digital agency as required.
• Develop guidelines to train the sales force on how best to utilise Facebook and other social media tools to drive business success without compromising the brand
• Regularly update the Marketing department on new trends, insights and case studies for the social media and digital space.
• Monthly reporting of social media analytics and developing key priorities and actions from these insights.
• Ad hoc reports regarding social media platforms to leverage trends as required.
• Working with the Digital Marketing Specialist, to send out EDMS to the sales force and Consumers as required.
• Update Website with product updates, content etc.
• Regularly monitor all social media channels ensuring the brand copyright is not being infringed and that the sales force are not using these channels against guidelines.

Capability Profile

• Marketing Degree
• 2-5 years social media management experience
• Enthusiasm and passion for a well renowned lifestyle brand.
• Experience with copy writing and content management in the digital social media space
• Agency or client side background considered
• Demonstrated success in driving brand awareness through the social media channel
• Management of external agencies experience
