We’re an internal creative services group for a world-class science organization searching
for an individual with the perfect balance of solid visual design skills and technical capabilities
to execute across the digital medium spectrum.
Major Job Responsibilities
Design digital interfaces and experiences for a wide variety of applications, including multi-paged
websites, interactive tools for animated sequences, online ads, social media and related digital
channels. Manage schedule and develop assets to feed existing digital channels. Ideate, brainstorm
and pilot concepts that extend advertising, brand or campaign messaging into web, mobile app,
online and social channels. Adapt template-based applications to bring them into alignment with
brand standards. Partner with creative team, software engineers, web developers and internal
clients to outline wireframes and create concepts that serve the brand and meet business objectives.
Edit and/or create a range of videos for use in online, mobile, social or email communications.
Strong knowledge of Adobe CS programs including Dreamweaver, Muse, Edge, Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop and Acrobat.
Video editing/compression skills in Final Cut, After Effects, motion design and animation basics and/or willingness to learn these programs.
Must be a strong designer with a portfolio that reflects a wide range of visual styles and work done on behalf of a wide variety of brands.
Digital portfolio should include multi-screen experiences in online, mobile, touch, video etc.
6 - 8 years of design experience focused mostly on interactive, digital and multimedia.
Agency experience prefered.
Bachelor's degree in design, fine arts or a related degree.
