Digital Video Producer

The Digital Video Producer is accountable for managing all digital video on this global financial service’s external-facing digital channels, including website, mobile app, and social media channels, such as YouTube. In this role, you will be part of their webcast and video team, and report to our webcast/video lead. S/he will bring to the table a strong set of technical digital video skills, including editing and encoding skills, as well as a deep knowledge of digital video channels and best practices.

Responsibilities:
• The Digital Video Producer will work closely with internal marketers, video editors, digital editors, digital campaign managers, digital producers and webcast producers to manage the pipeline of video content coming into our digital channels, the editing and optimization of each clip, the distribution of video and the performance metrics of each channel.
• Edit and encode video content for external channels
• Manage relationships with stakeholders in marketing, creative services, and digital agency teams
• Advise stakeholders on best practices and ideal usage in marketing campaign planning while advocating for optimal use of video in digital channels
• Analyze metrics for all video usage in digital channels
• Be accountable for decisions on all video elements of each content deliverable, ensuring overall design quality is met
• Manage editorial decisions on placement of videos, including promotional slots
• Be nimble to the constantly changing work requirements while assimilating new information, analyzing it and effectively apply it

Requirements:
• Strong digital video technical skills in all major formats with strong video content editing experience
• Strong project-management skills by developing practices in managing workflow
• Strong cross-promotion skills; able to relate content items across site pages and sections for relevant audiences
• Develop and maintains working relationships with key stakeholders
• Technical understanding of webcasting technology, video production and live event coordination
• Strong communications skills


Education:
• Bachelor’s degree required; Communications or broadcast degree preferred
• 4 years + digital video experience; 2+ years working in a professional services firm
