Digital Strategy Director

We have an agency client that is seeking a Digital Strategy Director to support their team- This is a contract to hire position in San Diego! Client is open to relo for the right candidate!


Key Responsibilities:
• Spearhead creation and implementation of comprehensive digital engagement strategies across paid, owned, and earned channels
• Provide strategic guidance and oversight to the Client to inform fully integrated programs, campaigns, and platforms – outputs may include, but are not be limited to creative briefs, ad hoc strategy document, and communications plans
• Collaborate across departments to discover and pursue new opportunities to help drive client business objectives
• Be a thought leader who educates Clients and internal teams on digital and social channel innovations, best practices, and implications of ongoing evolutions in the space
• Develop ad hoc POV documents and presentations for Clients on a variety of topics such as new strategies, platform changes, and emerging platforms of interest
• Help develop ROI models and evolve measurement and analytics process to focus on defining value and KPIs for clients across integrated programs
• Collaborate with Digital Analyst to interpret data for future strategy development
• Report results to client teams, and jointly develop actionable insights
• Manage a community management team in order to execute successful social moderation/engagement, channel management and content programs

Qualifications:
• 4+ years working in digital strategy and social media strategy at an agency or brand
• Experience crafting and proposing integrated marketing solutions for clients by having a thorough understanding of their current state, business objectives and potential gaps
• Possess strategic thinking and analytical mindset to create progressive, ROI-driving ideas and programs
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a positive approach to problem solving
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
• Strong competency with MS Office, Mac Apps (e.g. Keynote), digital/mobile apps, CMS platforms and other cloud-based apps
• A restless desire to change how advertisers and agencies approach digital in a transparent, consumer-centric world
• Must possess a strong backbone and be obsessed with ROI
