Digital Strategist

We’re looking for an awesome Digital Strategist for a well known PR agency here in Boston. This is a full time, temp to perm role on-site with a great team!

This person would be involved with development and execution of digital programs, storytelling initiatives, and marketing activations within the consumer industry category. The ideal person will be highly conversant in both the digital space as well have a passion for consumer products. We’re also looking for someone with the ability to analyze the metrics and insights behind given programs and campaigns as well as industry trends. This is a collaborative group in a fast paced environment!

This individual will be responsible for initiatives such as writing and managing client social media assets, syndicating content across media, updating website content, assistance on digital production projects, working with clients on tactical issues and providing counsel, as well as editorial development for social, traditional and cross-functional media. This person must also have strong content creation skills, creative thinking abilities, and problem-solving skills. An interest in design or development is a huge plus!

Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement content strategy
• Communicate to account teams and end clients on project developments, timelines and results
• Manage and update website content
• Provide guidance and assistance on tactical executions of client campaigns (social, digital platforms, paid social advertising programs, search marketing, measurement and analytics)
• Keep pace with social media and new digital industry trends and developments
• Assist in new business proposals (research, building slides)
• Outreach to high-level influencers
• Develop news story ideas and draft media relations materials
• Play a role in web platform development from an editorial perspective (Facebook, mobile apps, brand microsites, corporate websites, etc.).
• Play a role in new business pitch development and presentations.


Qualifications:
• experience within the digital marketing industry with a strong understanding of social media and digital strategy
• Knowledge and proficiency in social media analytics tool, website analytics tools and other relevant platforms. Including but not limited to: brandwatch, radian6, google analytics, etc.
• Experience working with and creating databases and dashboards utilizing all relevant data to inform decisions
• Possess strong analytical skills with understanding of statistical techniques: hypothesis development, designing tests/experiments, analyzing data, drawing conclusions and developing actionable recommendations
• Have a passion and experience for social media and stay ahead of the curve on industry developments
• Have very strong written and verbal communications skills
• Always love to learn new skills and tools
• Specific experience or background in analytics/measurement/metrics is a plus
