Digital Strategies and Advocacy Specialist

Do you consider yourself a social media guru? Are you passionate about improving communities and care about advocacy rights? One of our association clients is seeking a Digital Strategies and Advocacy Specialist to join their Washington, DC office. Main responsibilities for this role will be to manage and run all social media marketing and advocacy outreach for their U.S. program system. Ideal candidates will have experience running programs revolving around advocacy and has proven success in writing promotional materials for outreach. Their U.S. programs are expanding quickly so they are looking to bring someone on board quickly! Please only apply if you are available to start next week!


Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Curates relevant content to reach association members, prospects and other stakeholders.

  • Creates, curates, and manages all published content (images, video and written).

  • Monitors, listens and responds to users in a “Social” way while cultivating leads and sales.

  • Develops and expand community outreach efforts.

  • Designs, creates and manages promotions and Social ad campaigns.

  • Performs analysis and compiles report for management showing results of social media efforts (ROE) and association performance (Google Analytics).

  • Prepares and shares reports for editorial and outcome teams along with recommendations on how to improve metrics through team effort.
