Digital Specialist

One of our valued clients in the oil/gas industry is seeking a Digital Specialist for a temporary, 2-month opportunity. The Digital Specialist reports to the Director, Brand, Digital and Social Media and is part of the Investor Relations and Communications department. The Digital Specialist is in charge of content management, analytics, SEO and project management for the internet site and will also partner with the IT group to manage projects to improve the site.

Job Responsibilities:

• Publishes content onto the corporate website with a focus on investor relations materials.
• Answers and routes requests from the corporate website – averages 100 a week.
• Manages and publishes all content onto the the corporate external site and YouTube channel.
• Leads search engine optimization efforts on the corporate website.
• Leads our paid search program for several company external sites
• Helps lead our corporate analytics program for websites, Intranet and Social Media.
• Uses software tools to optimize and improve reliability
• Develops training tools for website publishing and assists and trains website publishers.
• Assists with planning and strategy for vendors and third party tools.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience using content management systems. .Net or SharePoint experience is preferred.
• Proven experience using Google Analytics and other software tools to generate management reports on site performance.
• Proven experience using SEO tools.
• Proven experience with paid search.
• Proven experience with project management.
• Knowledge of HTML and CSS preferred.
• Bachelors degree preferred.
