Digital Specialist - PPC

Firebrand are exciting to be partnering with this leading international Insurer for the search for a Web Specialist with focus on PPC.

We are looking for a talented and experienced in-house digital marketing specialist with active experience in pay per click and search engine optimisation. The position is to cover a 7 months
maternity leave with the option of becoming full time if you are successful in the role and meet the business requirements when the contract ends.

You will be responsible for designing and implementing SEM/SEO strategies to drive relevant traffic to the company websites. Ideally you will also have an interest in branching out outside of PPC and SEO and be able to get involved in other aspects of Digital Marketing.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Taking ownership of search marketing (SEO & PPC) strategies & general online marketing projects, specifically:
• PPC:Creating and setting up all aspects of a Google Adwords account, bid management (both manual and automated), optimising campaigns for conversions, CPC, CTR and CPA, Google Adwords reporting, Keyword research, Google Analytics
• SEO: On and Off site optimisation, Linking strategies, Blogger outreach, Content marketing, keyword research, copywriting, onsite optimisation.
• Develop, implement and evaluate creative digital campaigns
- Assist in the maintenance of and updates to existing websites
- Participate in website enhancement and SEO/PPC optimization projects
- Analyse website metrics and statistics to ensure the campaigns are regularly optimised
- Support testing and QA efforts
- Improve the search visibility of websites within both the organic and paid search results
- Work closely with the E-Commerce Specialist to provide search input into all digital and social initiatives within the organisation

Key requirements
• You have extensive knowledge and passion for the online and search marketing industry.
• You must have at least 2-3 years’ experience in managing Google Adwords accounts either in an agency role or in a client side role
• At least 2-3 years practical experience in SEO
• You have strong analytical and numerical skills and high attention to detail as well as a creative outlook when building search campaigns
• Exceptional communications skills, proactive and autonomous mentality
• Understanding of HTML, CSS and other web programming languages
